I pray daily and listen to uplifting music to minister to my mind, body soul and personal development.

I have two children Daughter (25 years of age) B.A Broadcasting and Women Gender Studies from Grand Valley State University and she has Also Maintained her M.A in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. She now
Son (18) Graduated this spring from West Bloomfield High School he will be attending Specs Howard School of Broadcasting in the Fall and pursuing his clothing line.
I am a part of the Clarence E. Phillips Ascend Foundation and Program Director for The Ascend Truth Youth Coalition- Substance abuse prevention in Teens and Youth.
I also work with the Crohn’s Colitis and Cancer Foundation – I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease 8 years ago and I have been in remission for four years.
One thing you would tell your teenage self?
I would tell my teenage self DON’T STOP!!!!!!!!!! TRULY FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS
Best advice you ever received?
Understand “To much is given Much is required” Wait for Your Turn and when your turn arrives be the best “YOU” You can be – NEVER STOP LEARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A passion dear to my heart is supporting and uplifting women. When women support each other, incredible things happen. Sweetrocks will carry that mission by highlighting women weekly in hopes of education, support and inspiration of women.
